Hi, I’m Gemma, founder of
Gem’s Botanical Beauty. Waiheke Island.

Since childhood, I always wanted to be a florist. My mum has the greenest fingers, and as a girl, I loved to follow her around the garden, soaking up her incredible knowledge and basking in our shared passion for plants and flowers.

My style, as a creative, is forever evolving – but always at the heart of it is the natural beauty of the flower. Gardening, making a home, colour, design and aesthetics (both vintage and modern), food and creativity are what I thrive on, and I am most content when styling up a space full of things I love.
